Mission:  The Summer Opportunities Committee's goal is to help connect students to summer internships, jobs, and volunteer opportunities to fulfill community service requirements, gain job experience, and explore career paths.

Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities

 

The Langley PTSA is looking for STUDENT volunteers to help at the Family Network Tailgate on Friday October 18  5:30PM to 7PM.  Signup here 

MCC Youth Ambassador Program ​is seeking Youth Ambassadors.   High school students in 9th-12th grade, who live in Dranesville Small District 1A and attend McLean or Langley High Schools are invited to apply to become MCC Youth Ambassadors.   Applications are due October 31st, 2024.  Apply here. 

​​​​St. Francis Fall Marketplace  is looking for volunteers (ages 14+) to assist with parking, set up and clean up, carry items for customers, and assisting the Difficult Run Jazz Band and the adult volunteers at the bake sale, rummage sale, hot dog grill.  To sign up, please contact Annette Bellino at annette.bellino@verizon.net

Kids Give Back is a nonprofit organization in Northern Virginia that provides volunteer opportunities for kids ages 6-12. Our half-day Summer Volunteer Camp engages kids in meaningful and fun volunteer service that makes a difference in our community.
