Need Your LHS Transcript Sent to Your College of Choice? 

Seniors - If you wish to have your final transcript sent so you can sign up for classes at your institution of choice, you must complete your senior survey!  Directions are listed below.  Without this information, we cannot send the transcript, and you will not be able to register for your college classes.  If you are still deciding, please let us know this.  Thank you.  If you have already done so, you are amazing.

How to Complete Your Senior Survey:  Class of 2020

 

Go to Blackboard

 

Open Naviance Student (normally located on the left side of your screen)

 

Click on the About Me tab

 

On the left hand side, under surveys to take, open FCPS senior survey - class of 2020

 

1. What is your graduation plan?

          Do not use UNKNOWN

 

2. Answer honestly what your decision was for each college you applied to.

          DO NOT USE UNKNOWN

 

If you did not apply to a school on your list, choose INCOMPLETE, then check NEVER APPLIED

 

If you withdrew your application before you got a decision, click WITHDREW

If you were waitlisted, pick NO DECISION, and check WAITLISTED

FOR THE SCHOOL YOU ARE ATTENDING, CHECK ATTENDING, SEND FINAL TRANSCRIPT

If you applied to a school and it is not on the list, please add it and include your results

 

3.  Did you apply for FAFSA?

Yes, No, or Not sure

4. Did you receive need-based aid?

 Yes, No, or Not Sure. 

 If you said Not sure for #3, say Not sure for this one

5. Did you get any scholarship money for the college you are attending?

 Yes or No

6. Skip this question if you said no to #5.  If you said Yes, then record you answer as such:

 If you are getting 4000 per year for 4 years, then put 16000

 DO NOT PUT $$$, commas, or other punctuation!

2020 Senior Yard Signs

  • Yard signs have been distributed to everyone who ordered by the original deadline (4/30).

  • The second batch (orders by 5/15) is printing now.

  • The final batch (orders by 5/31) will begin printing 6/1.

When picking up, Heather O’Donovan will be wearing a mask and gloves and asks that anyone picking up the signs do the same.  If we find that we need to offer additional dates/times, we will do so.

As many students prepare for AP Testing at home, it is important to take time this week to ensure they are ready for this year's exams. The 2020 AP Testing schedule begins on Monday, May 11.  Please take a moment to review the important information below shared by College Board and FCPS:

Senior Parent Forum April 23rd

We were thrilled to have over 100 attendees for our final Senior Parent Forum.

Guest Speaker, Jennifer Weaver, shared amazing tips for Parents of Seniors for the first hour.  For the final 30 minutes, Elizabeth Trumbull moderated a review of "Knowns and Unknowns" regarding end of year activities for Seniors, joined by Principal Kim Greer, Assistant Principal Jim Robertson, and Director of Student Services Braden Peterson.
